Poor Mrs. Spitzer! Standing by her man while he read his public "I got caught" message, oops I mean "apology". It got me to thinking. If the roles were reversed would Spitzer stand by his wife? Several years ago, I met the female governor of a state and her husband. He acted like a perfect ***. He seemed to be jealous that she was the star of the show. He was unlike any political spouse I've ever met - male or female. She almost had to treat him like a little boy.

But, the female spouses were always smiling and supporting their husbands. Through all of the bad dinners and fund raisers, these women support their mates. So, the question we ask is whether a man would stay with his politician wife if she were caught cheating on him. That's a big "Hell no!" A man's ego could not take the beating of standing with his wife and having her recount her affair for the televisions cameras.

There's just no way. Women will get pissed when they read this, but men feel like you become ours when we marry you. Your sweet , wonderful sex becomes ours too and if you give it to someone else, then…what?! We are mad as hell! We'd be looking to kill the guy for soiling our property. Men would have to hear a lot of teasing from our friends.

They would be nice during the first few weeks, but then guys start being pretty cruel. You know, just like little boys can so really cruel things! So, we have to be able to say, "I dumped that ***. She's his problem now. I'm glad to be free of her." Women would talk to their friends and write a book and go on Oprah. Guys don't do this. We lick our wounds in private. We will cry in private. We will call you and hang up…in private. We would not stand by you. Our ego's could not take it.
